Mauricio Zelaya was born and raised in Brooklyn. During his adolescence, his increasing interest in photography organically led to an exposure to street art and fashion while living in one of the world’s hubs for creativity– New York City.
Now, studying at The Fashion Institute of Technology he is combining his passion for fashion, beauty, and liberated gender expression through photography where he also gained experience working as Photo Editor for BLUSH Magazine– the student-run publication of FIT.
